FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
(Raleigh, NC) – June 2017
The Triangle Gay Men’s Chorus To Perform National Anthem at Pride Night 2017
The performance will precede a soccer match between North Carolina Football Club and Indy Eleven, June 24th, 2017 at WakeMed Soccer Park at 7:30pm.
Both The North Carolina Football Club and The North Carolina Courage are hosting Pride Nights scheduled for June 17th and June 24th. The Chorus was asked by event organizer, Jill Duffner to perform the anthem for one of the two events earlier this year.
“I’m super excited to sing the national anthem!” says Ken Dayton, Chorus President. “Everyone should come out to hear us and catch a really exciting game!”
Each of the NCFC players participating is raising money for the Human Rights Campaign, and are encouraging their fans to join in on the fun.
Fans can get tickets for the game and learn about the other events leading up to Saturday’s event at http://www.northcarolinafc.com/tickets/index.php. Use promo code: PRIDE17 for a 20% discount and ensure that a portion of ticket sales will benefit the Human Rights Campaign – Triangle Chapter and Equality NC.
