A note of gratitude from the TGMC President
We’ve hit our goal! Hit and surpassed, to be precise. After less than a week of being live, our GoFundMe reached our $2,000 goal and then some, exceeding all expectations.
It’s hard to put into words how grateful our entire chorus is for the outpouring of support we’ve received from our community - both from those local to the Triangle area and friends/family/supporters from around the world. But thank you, thank you, thank you for helping us to keep the season going. While it’s generally true that we can’t do this without your support, it’s especially true this year.
When we first started planning for this season and realized the budget deficit that we would have, the entire leadership team quickly went into emergency planning mode to figure out how we could continue to pay deposits to reserve concert space, how to pay our contractor staff (accompanist and director), and how to “keep the lights on” with our other regular administrative costs. We raised some immediate funds through board giving, but knew it would not be enough to last until our next concert performances.
Through your support we now have a runway that takes us through to our next concerts in November, and we’re both delighted and grateful to be starting up our season with our first open social event tomorrow night.
So one more big (and final - I promise) THANK YOU to everyone who donated in the past week to make this possible.
If you’re interested in supporting more, such as by donating your time volunteering or as a board member, or joining the chorus as a singing member - please reach out to [email protected] so we can chat about opportunities.
Much love,
Drew Register, TGMC President

Community Corner
TGMC kicked off its fall concert season by donating to Pullen Memorial’s ongoing food drive organized by Pullen Mission Women. With members both new and old supporting the effort, we were able to fill the church’s grocery cart in just two nights!
