Volunteers play a vital role in the success of the Triangle Gay Men's Chorus.

Each year, we are privileged to have a committed core of volunteers who share their time, talents, and energy.


CURRENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Board of Directors

TGMC welcomes both male and female community members of all backgrounds to join our Executive Board.
"The Board" meets monthly, and guides the direction, focus, operations and ultimate success of TGMC.
Those with non-profit board, fine arts, fundraising and marketing experience are especially welcome.

Administrative Support

Administrative volunteers provide essential clerical support and assistance to TGMC with publicity and fundraising efforts, primarily with mailings.
Many hands make this light, quick, and enjoyable work.

Greeters and Ushers

Greeters help to create a warm and inviting environment by welcoming patrons to select concerts and distributing concert programs.

Audience Development and Communications

Our Marketing Team provides leadership and resources to assist TGMC with branding, public relations and marketing initiatives and strategies in support of TGMC’s strategic plan.  Activities and initiatives include but are not limited to; developing a yearly marketing and communications plan and budget, website content development, e-newsletter development, interfacing with media contacts, developing and distributing media advisories, representing TGMC at community events, and developing strategic partnerships with community organizations.

Financial Development

The Financial Development Committee leads the organization’s efforts to develop and execute a comprehensive plan to diversify, broaden and expand the resource base of TGMC.  Priorities include donor cultivation, major gifts, corporate and foundation support, special event production, and oversight of
